Tears of an Innocent Child

Those dreams of hers lost
They have fallen to the ground
The broken glass of her aspirations
You all tread on now
That world of hers
She did create
Was smashed to pieces
With so few words
And no actions needed
The world she thought of
Crashed down
Right before her eyes
Weeping through the eyes of an innocent child
That hope she held so tightly did disappear
As that blade was forced into her
As she pleaded for mercy
Those words forced into her
That blood of hers did spill
So many wounds they created
That still have not healed
And as she was drained from everything
That meant anything to her
Her heart turned cold
The pain and disillusionment that engulfed her on that day
Will not leave her
That splinter in her mind
That dagger in her heart
That emptiness she feels in her soul
She shall never gain what she lost
And those feelings shall never be lifted
They will weigh her down
They will be the cause
Of those blooded tears she will cry
So for her sake
For the life she has lost
And the emotions
She shall never feel
